Candidates must fulfill both of the following:
12th Pass (Intermediate) with Physics & Mathematics from a recognized board
Computer Qualification (one of):
DOEACC/NIELIT ‘O’ Level Certificate, OR
Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics from a recognized institution.
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 28 years (as on 01 July 2025/2026)
Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of UP rules for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
Pay Level: Level-4
Pay Matrix: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month approx.
Includes DA, HRA & other benefits as per government rules.
The UP Police Computer Operator Grade-A selection process generally consists of:
Written Examination
Typing/Skill Test (Hindi & English typing speed minimum test)
Document Verification
Medical Examination
